Reflection

       I reflected upon my research as it was taking place by writing in a log. Comments 

include general reflection as well as notes regarding specific aspects of the study. For 

example, as each stage of the Self-Regulated Strategy Development model was 

implemented, I reported in my log details of the instruction and included questions, 

comments, and observations. While implementing prewriting strategy instruction, including 

free-writing and graphic organizers, my specific notes helped with data analysis later.
